Eddie Guerrero passes away Nov. 13, 2005

WWE is deeply saddened by the news that Eddie Guerrero has passed away. He was found dead Sunday morning in his hotel room in Minneapolis. Eddie is survived by his wife Vickie and daughters Shaul, 14, Sherilyn, 9, and Kaylie Marie, 3.The cause of death is unknown at this time. An autopsy will be performed in Minneapolis on Monday, and Eddie's body will then be flown to Phoenix. Funeral arrangements are set for Thursday in Scottsdale, Arizona.

These late nights are doing me in, next month I will be taking it easy up until Xmas time, then start again in the new year.

I seriously have been puttin myself about way too much.

Anyway, the weekend, was sick!

On Friday.....

I had 2 bookings, the first one being at Kano Live in Swindon, and it looked like it all went according to plan, had a few words with Demon about bringing him to Bristol to do some things, so expect him down soon alongside Ghetto.

Then after the Drive back down the M4, I went to Organized Grime at Club UK in Bristol.
As allways seen the same faces, and a few new ones. Logan dropped some big vocal dubs, Wiley, Skepta, Jammer done what they do best. But the moment of the night for me had to be when Slicks from Ruff Squad made an appearance. Big up to all the mc's who came, but were not booked, big up Bossman for spinning a few riddems too. If your not booked, and want to come to the rave for free, do so, it makes the night a lot better!

Also shouts to guest list crew, its funny that people who never phone you AT ALL decide to phone 2 hours b4 a rave.

Drive By @ Academy, I was booked to play in the 2nd room. I havent been to a big drum and bass rave for years, so I didnt know what to expect. Overall, the night was fucking sick! Vibes!

The Megaman trial has taken a weird turn as a Jamaican Patois interpreter is being brought in to help decipher the slang used in Mega’s lyrics.
The prosecution have stated that due to Mega’s ‘bad character’ he would have sought to influence alleged gunman Carl Morgan. The defence retaliated by saying that Mega, real name Dwayne Vincent has no such ‘bad character’.
The prosecution responded by asking the court to listen to some of So Solid’s songs to prove how bad a character, Megaman actually is.
When the songs were brought forward however no one was able to understand what Megaman was going on about due to the slang being used by the rapper. So an interpreter who understands patois is being brought to court tomorrow to help translate the meaning of the words laid down by the So Solid frontman. According to a trusted insider this apparently had Megaman laughing out loud in the dock.
Also earlier this week the brother of alleged victim, Colin Scarlett was questioned in court. He said that he could identify Mega as one of the men who had been at the shooting, which was not what he had previously stated. All of those present at the incident were said to have been wearing ‘black hoodies’, so curious to how Scarlett had managed to identify the So Solid leader; they asked him if he recognised him by ‘his eyebrows.’ More breaking news as we get it.

You have had 5 releases to date, some being 4/4 tracks, and some grime? What do you prefer producing?: I dont have a preference i just love the music. I like experimenting with different sounds and styles to see what i come up with it can be 4x4 or grime, I have even made Drum and Bass and Hip Hop in the past.

I heard how the "Bassline House" scene is growing up north, you getting involved with that?: Bassline house.. I dont really like that name still Because its basically just 4x4 garage. Ive played at a few events still, a couple of my tunes have got kinda big in the "bassline house" scene. Everyone is getting on that vibe, but its not like people have gone off the grime ting up here tho cause thats totally wrong.. its just that promoters are scared to host grime events up here because it may attract trouble and all that kinda fuckery!

Your jump to 1xtra happened quite early in your career, How has that helped you, both in your Dj Career, and as a Producer?: well.. It's helped my name get noticed more, in both fields. Also it's helped me develop as a dj and its helped me alot as well with developing my presenting skills.

I hear you got a track with Big Seac from NASTY, how did that collab come about? And have you got any more coming up?: Well i done the instrumental first, sent clips to a few people and the feedback was good. I played it Stanza from Scandalous Unlimited and he was feeling it and wanted to know if he could use it on the true tiger mixtape I said yeah. Big Seac heard Stanza with it and wanted to do the vocal. Ive also got another track on their mixtape, feating their vocalist Shyam, and Aftershock's Triple Threat and Krucial

Big Movements in the game then, everything seems to be happening quickly, do you think the internet has helped you in regards to contacting people and networking?: Yeah, the internet has helped in a way, without the technology I would of found it hard sending, receiving tracks seeing as Im all the way in Hudds. The only problem with the technology is kids sharing the tracks online with programs like DC++ which kinda fucks up the scene.

(Blazey: If you dont know the deal, producers have had tunes leak on file sharing apps weeks and even months before their release, which can effect sales, and In the worst case scenario can get into the hands of bootleggers who will simply press their tracks onto test presses and shot them to shops)

Finally, what is the future plans for Q? Plans for the future, well i'll still be on the airwaves hopefully getting music out to people. Looking to set up a label for my tunes and a couple other producers & mcs, theres a couple collaborations in the pipelines too. Looking to work with Vader and Devilman 2 big mc's from Birmingham. Theres a couple more projects underway that i can't reveal too much about them yet but you'll know.
